Kate Hayes is a junior. This is her first year on The Journal staff. She is so ecstatic to be writing for The Journal and can’t wait to get the year started. Kate is an avid cat lover and will always be ready to strike up a conversation about her cat, Luna at any time. She spends most of her money on fueling her obsession with books that she never reads and clothes she never wears. Kate enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, and when she’s not doing that she’s crying over book characters.
