As fans gear up for Super Bowl parties with friends, family and finger foods this weekend, students have the opportunity to participate in the school’s own ‘Soup’er Bowl for the third year in a row.
Kansas City Chiefs or Philadelphia Eagles? This is the question that has been circulating the media as the two teams advanced to the Super Bowl that will be held Sunday, Feb. 9. Before the big game, students can participate in the ‘Soup’er Bowl Food Drive by bringing in cans of tomato soup or chicken noodle soup. If students will be wearing red and gold and cheering for the Chiefs, they can bring tomato soup. If the Birds are in their winning slot they can bring in chicken noodle soup. Every can a student brings will enter them into a drawing for a $20 gift card. The more cans, the more their name will be entered into the drawing. All cans must be brought to Mr. Vincent’s Room, 227.5C, by Friday, Feb. 7. All donations will be taken to a local food pantry, and the winner will be announced Tuesday, Feb. 11.
