Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day as Key Club spreads some endearment by selling carnations for your loved ones. From Feb. 3-12, students will be able to purchase customizable carnations during fifth or seventh lunch. Prices start at $2 for a single carnation or a bouquet of three for $5. Carnations will be distributed by Key Club members during third and fourth periods on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. All proceeds will go to the Parkersburg Humane Society.
“People should buy carnations because it’s a fun way to interact with your friends and loved ones,” Key Club member Leila Noland said. “You can make the people in your life feel special by paying a small price for a good cause.”
