Erickson All-Sports Facility was flooded with red Friday, Sept. 20 to cap off Rivalry Week. The evening began with cross country winning the dual meet with a combined score of 42. Prior to kickoff, the Parkersburg South and PHS A Cappella choirs sang “My Home Among the Hills.” Then, the marching bands from both schools played The National Anthem and their alma maters. Although fans showed up and showed out, the Big Reds fell to the Patriots 26-17.
