Q: What do you teach at PHS?
A: I teach the MI (multiple impairments) class.
Q: Where and what were you teaching before you came here?
A: I have been an aide for the last seven years in the MI or multi-categorical classrooms.
Q:How long have you taught?
A: This is my first year teaching.
Q: What are you excited about for this year?
A: I am excited to learn the different programs for teaching. I have seen Schoology and other programs from the student perspective but not from the teaching angle.
Q: How would you describe your teaching style?
A: I like using a hands-on approach. I like to work together as we are learning the new material that we are working on.
Q: What do you want students to know about you?
A: I want students to know that we are in this together.
Q: Why did you become a teacher?
A: I like working with students and helping them learn to the best of their capabilities.
Q: Do you have a quote you live by?
A: Treat others like you want to be treated.
Q: Do you have hobbies outside of school?
A: Outside of school, I like to watch my son play soccer and other sports. I am also going for my Master’s degree in Special Education.
