Prom to Take Place May 7
Prom is on its way. It will be held in the Field House on May 7 with the theme of “Elements”. Walk-ins will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale through May 6 at 12:56 p.m. (the end of sixth period). Tickets cost $30 per person and are available in the Finance Office in the library. Tickets are available for purchase with cash, card, and checks. V.I.P parking tickets are also available for an additional $20. This covers one couple, meaning if there are multiple couples in one car, each couple will need a V.I.P ticket to park in the horseshoe. If a couple does not have one of these tickets, they will need to be dropped off at the entrance of prom.
In junior and senior English classes QR codes will be posted so that song suggestions can be made. There will also be a QR code for seniors to vote for prom court. Voting takes place through May 4. The winners will be announced at prom on May 7.
Good attendance is also necessary to attend prom. Students may have no more than eight unexcused days or 64 unexcused periods. Contracts can be made with Mrs. Ray for exceptions.
